For expensive vehicles that cost tens of millions of yen each, in order to avoid any damage to the vehicle inside the container, it is often the case that only one vehicle is loaded into a 20ft container, or two vehicles are laid flat in a 40ft container.
Van loading (Dray + Customs clearance + Shipping) Vanning of luxury and rare cars
In some cases, due to needs such as parts not being available locally, parts are loaded into containers together with the vehicle for export. Even if the shipping costs for the parts alone are high, efficient shipping can be achieved by utilizing the space of the container.
Car and parts mixed loading
When transporting vehicles in containers to destinations such as Europe, where the shipping route takes more than a month, mold may grow inside the vehicles when they arrive at the destination.
The inside of the container is sealed, so if work is done on a rainy day, the inside of the container will be kept in a high humidity state, and cars that are left in that state for a long period of time will be more likely to develop mold.
Since you cannot control the weather, we recommend that you carry industrial silica gel (a desiccant) in your car to remove moisture when working on a rainy day. (Additional 1,000 yen/each <500g>)
